Langkawi Island > Pantai Kok

Quieter and more secluded than Pantai Cenang, Pantai Kok is a place to simply relax and enjoy the beauty of the beach and natural surroundings. Located along the island's western coastline about 25 kilometres from Kuah town, the beach was named after a nearby fishing village.

Ideal for a romantic get-away or honeymoon, Pantai Kok was also a location in the film "Anna and the King" The palatial Thai-style buildings constructed for the set still remain. Recently, new resorts and a golf course have added to the attractions. A place for "the big chill" you can also take a break from sun-bathing and explore local caves or go jungle trekking.

Pantai Kok

The long stretch of beach with its tall, waving coconut palms is bordered by jungle and looks west towards the Andaman Sea. It is a perfect getaway and a great place for taking pictures.
