Perak Tong

Perak Tong is one of the famous limestone cave temple, located at Jalan Kuala Kangsar, 6km to the north of Ipoh. It is a Buddhist temple found within the huge Gunung Tasik cavern which houses over 40 Buddha statues, the larges being a 13 metres high sitting Buddha.

There is a steep climb of 385 steps to bring one to the an opening at the top, revealing a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside.
